The Health of the Cane Corso

the Cane Corso is a healthy breed with no specific tendency to any kind of disease. The reason for this is that the breed has not yet undergone the process of crossbreeding of related bloodlines as has happened with other breeds. As with the other large breeds, the Cane Corso may also develop pelvic problems and, therefore, when purchasing a puppy it is important to ensure that both the parents have undergone pelvic x-rays and were found to be in order. It is important to take care not to purchase puppies without certification or puppies whose parents have not been x-rayed.
